We came together in August 2007 as a jam group and club out of our day-job employers. In December of that year, we played our first public performance. From there we competed in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame's Battle of the Corporate Bands for 2008, and we made it to the Regional competition at the Key Club in West Hollywood, California!
Since then we've played numerous charitable events, bars, and private parties around Phoenix, and we're always looking for opportunities to share our passion for rockin' music with the public.
Our current roster is
- Heide Heronime (vocals, keyboards, percussion) - originally from Westphalen, Germany, Heide spent her youth singing along with the radio. Heide has been with the Pedestrians since the beginning.
- Jim Heronime (vocals, guitar, saxes) - originally from Carbondale, Kansas, Jim studied music at an early age and went to Emporia State University as a music major. Jim is one of the founding members of the Pedestrians.
- Pete Klehr (vocals, guitar) - originally from Chicago, Illinois, Pete began playing guitar at the age of ten. He's been playing and singing semi-pro since high school, and continued through-out his career. Pete joined the band in 2009.
- Trevor Smith (drums) - originally from Alberta, Canada, Trevor has been playing in the Phoenix area for many years, primarily with "Noisemakers." Trevor is the Pedestrians' original drummer.
- Steve Vanderburg (bass, vocals) - originally from the Chicago area, Steve began playing bass at an early age. He began gigging in high school and hasn't stopped since. Steve joined the band in 2011.
